  • This service is ONLY for those aged 18 years old and over.
  • The mole/skin lesion must NOT be a rash (i.e., a widespread eruption of many, often connected lesions).
  • The mole/skin lesion must be LESS THAN 15mm in diameter.

How many moles can be checked?

We can only check ONE mole per order.

When will I receive my results?

We will usually perform the service and respond within 1 working day. This means, if you complete all the tasks on Sunday to Thursday, you should get a response within 24 hours. If you complete the tasks on a Friday or Saturday, you may have to wait until Monday for a response.

How will I receive my results?

Your results will be sent to the email address that you verified as part of the ‘Verify contact details’ task of the Mole Checking Service.

You can also access your results in the Evergreen Life app by selecting Records > Personal records > Results.

What will my results say?

Your answers to the Clinical mole questionnaire and photos of your mole will be assessed by an expert dermatologist. You will then receive a signed report from this dermatologist, with a clear explanation and recommendation of the best next steps for you to take.

The Mole Checking Service may not always offer a definitive diagnosis and does not offer treatment. Therefore, it is your responsibility to take further action if the outcome in your letter recommends follow-up. This may require you to contact your GP or private provider directly.

Who will have access to the information about my mole?

Please be aware that if you order or activate this service, you will later be asked to consent to share your data associated with the Mole Checking Service with Omnes Healthcare. Omnes Healthcare is a provider of dermatology services and a partner of Evergreen Life. You can find Evergreen Life’s privacy policy here.

How do I know if I should get my mole checked?

It’s very common to have moles on your body. However, if a mole changes or a new one appears, it’s important to get these checked out by a suitably qualified clinician. Our article here on how to spot the warning signs of skin cancer can serve as a helpful guide.

How do I enter my date of birth?

If you're not sure how to enter your date of birth within the Clinical Mole Questionnaire, you can view our help article that details how to input your date of birth.

What photos do I need to take?

When you come to uploading photos of your skin problem, here is some important guidance to follow to ensure the dermatologist can make an accurate assessment:

Please take at least 3 different photos, so we get a full view of the problem.

Here’s what we need with example photos:

  • A photo from arm’s length away, showing the entire part of your body with the problem (e.g. entire arm, entire back, etc.)
A photo of a mole on a leg.
  • A close-up photo to fill the screen
Close up mole photo

  • A photo of your skin problem at an angle (45 degrees or from the side)
Photo of mole on leg from side view.

How should I take the photos?

  • Lighting: Ensure that you take the photos in a bright and well-lit area, preferably in natural sunlight, so the skin problem can be seen clearly.
  • Focus: Make sure the photos are in focus and not blurry.
  • No filters: Do not use any filters or editing tools on the photos.
  • No zooming out: Please do not use the wide-angle lens (e.g., 0.5x) when taking mole photos. This will distort the image.
  • Use Wi-Fi connection: To ensure faster upload speeds, connect to a secure, reliable Wi-Fi network.

By following these guidelines, you’ll help ensure that the dermatologist can accurately assess your skin problem.

⚠️ If you don’t follow these guidelines correctly and submit photos that aren’t clear enough or don’t show the whole problem, then the dermatologist will be unable to make an assessment and you will not receive a recommendation.
