About Chemist4U
Chemist4U is a UK-based online pharmacy that provides NHS prescriptions for millions of patients every year, offering free, fast and discreet delivery straight to your door.
Chemist4U is owned by Innox Trading Ltd, run by fully qualified pharmacists and operates from registered pharmacy premises in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.
How will be my prescription be sent out?
When you request a repeat prescription with Chemist4U, your GP practice first needs to authorise your prescription (where required). Once Chemist4U receives the prescription from your GP, it will normally be checked and approved by a Chemist4U pharmacist on the same working day.*
Chemist4U then processes and dispatches your prescription within 1 working day.
Chemist4U uses a tracked Royal Mail service, which means that your medications will usually be with you within 2 working days after dispatch. All orders are sent out in plain, discreet packaging, to protect your privacy.
You'll be updated about your Chemist4U order. You’ll know as soon as the pharmacy has received your prescription from your GP, when it's been approved and dispatched, and when it's on its way to you, complete with tracking details.
*Timings may vary depending on how your GP practice manages your repeat prescriptions and the type of repeat prescription you have. Read more about repeat prescriptions here.
Where can my medication be delivered to?
Chemist4U can deliver your prescriptions to anywhere in the UK. You can specify your address when you sign up to the service within Evergreen Life.
If you wish to change your delivery address at a later date (for example if you move or if you are staying somewhere else), you can enter a different delivery address when you next order.
Can I get my prescription sent to a different address?
Yes, you can specify a different address for your prescription to be sent to.
To do this, log in to your Chemist4U account and set your delivery address in your dashboard. It is best to do this as soon as possible to avoid your prescriptions being sent to the wrong address.
If this isn't set, Chemist4U will send your prescriptions to the address on the prescription.
Is this service free?
Yes, Chemist4U covers the cost of the service, including delivery, to ensure it is free for patients and at no extra cost to the NHS. However, if you pay for your prescriptions, this cost still stands.
If you do not pay for your prescriptions, please ensure you input this information when signing up for the service.
If you do pay for your prescriptions, you will be sent an email shortly after you have nominated Chemist4U asking you to set a password for your Chemist4U account. You can then set up your payments via GoCardless.
GoCardless is Chemist4U’s chosen payment partner for taking prescription charges, and it allows the pharmacy to take payment as soon as Chemist4U receives a prescription from your GP.
Is Chemist4U part of the NHS?
Like most pharmacies, Chemist4U provides services for patients on behalf of the NHS.
Does Evergreen Life get paid for this service?
This service is free for users, however, Evergreen Life is paid to provide it by Chemist4U.
