How do I collect my prescriptions?
I've ordered my repeat prescription online. When will my medication be ready and where do I collect it from?
If you use Evergreen Life to order your repeat medication you will need to know where and when to collect it. Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescriptions to be delivered to your home or any UK address. This article explains how to check and update your preferences for collection.
For repeat prescriptions, details of your preferred collection point are managed by your GP Practice. When you place a request for a repeat prescription it will be processed by your practice in accordance with any arrangements you have made with them, specifically where the medication will be dispensed from and how long you need to wait before you can collect the medication.
I haven’t nominated my preferred collection point
If this is the case the medication will most likely be sent to your practices ‘default’ dispensing location. Your GP Practice will be able to tell you where this is.
Can I change my nominated collection point in Evergreen Life?
You unfortunately can can't currently do this via the Evergreen Life app, although we're working to add this capability very soon.
In the meantime, if your practice has the ability to make a change to your nominated pharmacy, you can request a change via the Evergreen Life website. To do this:
- Log into your account via www.e-life.co.uk/login.
- Go to the Prescriptions gadget on your homepage.
- Click 'My Pharmacy', then 'Change Pharmacy'.
- Click on your chosen pharmacy.
Any changes you make are saved – once you have made a nomination, all orders will be sent to your chosen location until you change your nomination or move GP Practice.
Alternatively, you can contact your practice directly to make this change.
How long do I have to wait for my prescription?
The status of your prescription request will be updated in your Evergreen Life account once the prescription has been processed by your GP practice.
When your request status has been marked as 'issued' please allow the minimum wait time from this date, as recommended by your Practice, before collecting your medication.
