What is the NHS login account?

NHS login – a single, secure login that enables you to swiftly access health and social care apps and websites wherever you see the NHS login button.

Your NHS login account makes it easier and quicker for you to securely access digital health and care services with 1 username and password.

How do I use NHS login?

This login button is a way to access your medical information using your NHS login details. It's available on the Evergreen Life app and website on the login screen. You will be redirected to the NHS website in order to create an NHS login account (if you don’t already have one). This account will “link” to your Evergreen Life account, meaning you can use your NHS login details to log into your Evergreen Life account.

You are also able to link your Evergreen Life account to your GP surgery using your NHS login. By taking a photo of a piece of identification and recording a short video, you can prove your identity and link to your surgery without leaving your home.

You can prove who you are using the registration codes your GP provides. Or if you have not signed up for your GP surgery's online services (or you do not have the registration codes) you can prove who you are using 1 of the following:

• UK or European driving licence
• Passport
• European national identity card

You will need to send a photo of your I.D. and record a short video of your face while you say 4 numbers.

You do not need your NHS number, but it helps us connect you to your NHS record if you do have it.

Why do I need proof of ID to access my GP record?

Proof of ID is required so the NHS can connect you to your GP medical record and protect your health information. You only need to prove your identity when you first set up your NHS login. Once you’ve proved your identity, you’ll be able to use your NHS login details to access the Evergreen Life app - just look for the ‘NHS login’ button.
